one more song recorded...still behind!

Yep still behind with recording but another song recorded. Working title.."Traveling Song For Death". A little bit of bluegrass-goth-surf. LOL I'll make up the time through the week...

UGH!! I am so far behind with songs its not funny. Learning to use my 4track at the same time is for the birds! Maybe tonight will be productive...

thursday hijinx

Got off to a promising start last night recording...till the batteries on my 4track died UGH!! (And no I don't have a power supply...I have rechargables for it. They're the ones that died.) Quick trip to the store and I was back in business. PHEW!! A little behind as I only was able to work on one song. I just have the vocals and bass left(for which I'm borrowing jims beatle bass). Vocals would have been sketchy anyways ans my voice is still a little hoarse from the flippin cold I've had.
And what a great time to leave that comment marie...WINK!

Two songs written...recording them tonight!!

day 2

Day two...good thing I wrote a song completely yesterday. Having Max today and tomorrow leaves me out of the game for the most part. Taking the downtime now that he's in bed to pull together some new ideas for after he goes home. Since thursday is free after I get out of work that's recording day for the first song!

RPM Challenge...

Well, today is the first day of the challenge. Still not sure what I'm going to end up with but I haven't thought about it all day in hopes that something marvelous will come out...riiiight! Teaching my new guitar student at 5:30 and then I'm going to start busting some beats to maybe inspire some music. You never know, to those who remember, an oldie entitled "the calzone song" came out of a quick run over some chords after tuning the guitar so... Let the games begin!!!
